Relationship Circle will offer individuals a safe space to share feelings and experiences with one another via attending a virtual cafe (up to six per group for an hour-long session). There are also online free confidential individual tearoom conversations with a Relationships Circle mentor for up to 30 minutes for a block of six sessions at any one time.
Self-referral is made to a generic email address of the service and the sources of referral come from local press advertisements and social media platforms. Referral may be made via GPs and other healthcare professionals such as community nurses. Telephone screening will be carried out at the first contact to the service. At any point of the service, individuals may be signposted to the core stream statutory services when deemed urgent or appropriate.
Donations are welcome from individuals if they find our service helpful. We will raise funds through other sources as well. This is a social enterprise with monies re-invested into the service year on year.
There is a long term aim to build a continuum of the growth cycle (The Personal Growth Cycle in Three Simple Steps - Progress Guild (learn, act and feedback) with individuals who will feel supported, gain their own independence and enjoy a happier life with their family again.
This service will be complementary to the core stream services from the statutory organisations such as NHS providers and social care services. This will add value to other services available from the voluntary and community sector for the interests of families who live in the local community. It is important to ensure the family will integrate to their local community for cross cultural and heritage purposes.
